The United States carried out a rescue operation overnight, flying helicopters to the U.S. embassy in Sudan and evacuating 80 government personnel and their families. Secretary of State Antony Blinken also announced the closure of the embassy amid the growing violence in Khartoum, Sudan. NBC News’ Courtney Kube has the story.
