Despite improving markedly this season, Granit Xhaka is increasingly likely to leave Arsenal this summer, according to talkSPORT.
The Swiss midfielder has been heavily linked with a move back to the Bundesliga over the past few days, and the Gunners’ stance is likely to stir up further interest.
Xhaka has impressed this season at the Emirates Stadium, playing a key role in Mikel Arteta’s system and also – for the most part – keeping a lid on his emotions and allowing his football do the talking.
The ex-Borussia Monchengladbach star’s contract with Arsenal expires in 2024 and extending his deal does not appear to be an option being considered at this stage.
