Primark is offering six budget-friendly perfumes that shoppers claim are akin to designer brands – and smell ‘like heaven’.

The retailer is renowned for its vast array of affordably priced items, often featuring less expensive versions of luxury products.

In its latest fragrance release, Primark is providing customers with ‘high-end’ perfumes ranging from £3.50 to £6.

Instagram user Debbie, @beauty_glow_girl, who shares budget beauty products with her 178k followers, showcased the new fragrances which have been likened to Sol de Janeiro, Carolina Herrera, YSL, Tom Ford, Jimmy Choo and Mugler.

Alongside her video, displaying the products in store, Debbie penned: “Back with some affordable perfumes. This time they’re in @primark – let me know if you’ve tried any of these.

“Primark’s Hawaii Paradise is £3.50 and is touted as an affordable alternative for Sol de Janeiro’s Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 40 Bom Dia Bright which is £24.

“Primark’s Good Chica perfume is £6 and has been compared to the Carolina Herrera Good Girl perfume for £65.”

She added: “Primark’s Free perfume is £6 and is said to be similar to YSL’s Libre which retails for £97.

“Primark’s Citron Aqua is now £3 and has been likened to Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino which sells for a staggering £220. Primark’s True Destiny is £6 and is supposed to be identical to Jimmy Choo’s Blossom which is £76.

“Lastly, the Primark perfume Lilac Haze is £6 and is claimed to be similar to Mugler’s Lilac Haze which sells for £67.”

The post quickly went viral, amassing 12.8k likes and comments from eager shoppers, some of whom had already sampled the scents.

One excited fan exclaimed: “Running to Primark”, while another keen buyer remarked: “Ooh I must check these out!”

Another chimed in with: “I’ll be grabbing the Tom Ford dupe too, thanks for the heads up!”

Meanwhile, a satisfied customer shared: “Lilac Haze is gorgeous”, and another added: “True Destiny smells like heaven I have it.”

One happy purchaser, who’d already snagged a bottle, added: “I keep the a little bottle of the Free one in my work bag in case I forget to put perfume on and always get asked what it is when I wear it, lasts a while too!”

In response to a query about Good Chica, someone claimed: “It’s an exact dupe.”

Primark shoppers have also recently been on the hunt for the Leopard Print Denim Shorts, which are priced at £16. The shorts went viral online, having been labelled “unreal” and the “print of the season.”

The viral post from Instagram page @Galslovethehighstreet proved incredibly popular, with shoppers tagging friends to show off the shorts. Among the comments, one person said: “stopppp they’re lush” and a second wrote: “On the hunt for these!”

A third shopper added: “I have these I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw them.” Another added: “These are actually amazing!! I brought a pair last week.”
