With the sunny weather finally back, we have the perfect excuse to stock up on cute summer pieces – and if you’re heading abroad, we’ve spotted a dreamy swimsuit that shoppers are calling ‘so flattering.’
Now, when it comes to swimwear, M&S never misses, and there’s one swimsuit in particular that bears a striking resemblance to Hunza G’s top-selling one-shoulder piece – but at a fraction of the cost.
Although we’re big fans of Hunza G, it’s fair to say their iconic swimwear doesn’t come cheap, with their swimsuits priced over £100 each – so when we spotted this £29.50 one-shoulder lookalike from Marks and Spencer, we couldn’t resist adding it straight to our basket before it sells out.
Adored by influencers and celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Hailey Bieber and many more, Hunza G has become one of the most successful swimwear brands to date – largely due to its inclusive one-size-fits-all swimsuits and bikinis, made in a crinkle-stretch fabric which moulds to your body.
With a similar crinkle textured fabric, and one-shoulder design, the affordable M&S replica looks just like Hunza G’s Nancy one-shoulder crinkle-knit swimsuit which retails for a hefty £165.
Much like Hunza G’s, the contemporary one-shoulder design offers added stretch for flexibility, and features removable padding and lining for extra comfort. It’s made from durable chlorine-resistant fabric, and even boasts Sun Smart UPF 50+ technology to help protect skin from harmful UV rays.
It’s not a one-size-fits-all like its pricier counterpart, but sizes range from a UK 8 to 24, and there’s even a bold green option if you’re looking to add some colour into your summer wardrobe.
The swimsuit is super adaptable too, and just like the Hunza G original, it doubles as a trendy top when paired with jeans or a skirt for daytime wear.
A thrilled shopper described it as ‘gorgeous’ and shared: “I really love this swimsuit which will be great for my holiday as it can be worn with trousers for the evening as well on its own during the day.”
Another customer praised its fit, saying: ” I have big boobs and somehow this supports me enough without the old fashioned looking bra top look. Fabric is lovely but not worn or washed yet so I can’t comment as to how it keeps its shape but I do have another in this same sort of fabric that is lasting well.”
Despite plenty of glowing reviews, it seems not everyone is a fan of the swimsuit with one disappointed shopper saying: “I loved this when I tried it on…great material, nice fit! Unfortunately to swim in, it’s impossible as it constantly comes down.”
You can snap up the M&S one-shoulder swimsuit here for £29.50 – but hurry, as it has already sold out in some sizes.
Alternatively, we’re also loving this white Asymmetrical textured swimsuit from Mango, priced at £49.99.
