The cast of Back to the Future have reunited once again.
On his Twitter account, Christopher Lloyd, who played Doc Brown, shared an adorable snap shot of him and his former co-stars from the 1985 classic film.
In the shot, Michael J. Fox embraces Thomas Wilson, who played the movie’s villain Biff Tannen.
In the corner, Lea Thompson, who played the mother of Fox’s Marty McFly, embraces Lloyd.
Along with the sweet photo, Lloyd commented: “Can we get 88k likes? The past says so…” At the time of publication, the post has 173.9k likes.
Later on Monday, Lloyd commented: “Great Scott!! We did it,” when the post reached the goal.
This isn’t the first time the cast of Back to the Future has reunited.
In July, Fox, Thompson, and Lloyd attended a benefit performance of “Back to the Future: The Musical” for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and reunited on the red carpet at the Winter Garden Theatre.
The musical officially opened on Broadway on August 3.
In February, the cast reunited to celebrate Back to the Future at Fan Expo Portland.
During that occasion, Thompson posted several photos and videos from the event.
She captioned her Instagram post with: “Wow honestly had the best time today with my [‘Back to the Future’] family…so many fun fan moments too and a llama.”
In her videos, the cast mates referenced some of their characters’ famous lines.
Wilson broke out Biff’s, “Hello, anybody home?” which he doesn’t do often.
Lloyd posted a photo of the four actors on his Instagram too.
He captioned the snap with, “Found the flux capacitor. Brought us all back to 2023 just in time,” referencing the device his character said “makes time travel possible.”
Lloyd and Fox have had many more reunions together, but it’s always great to see the cast come together for events.
