And Frimpong appears to be at the top of Ten Hag’s list if the Red Devils can delve into the market for upgrades.
Mazraoui may be a tempting proposition, though, as well as a cheaper alternative to Frimpong and Timber.
That said, a goalkeeper, centre-back, midfielder and striker are also considered higher in Ten Hag’s priorities. A move for a right-back in the coming months is unlikely.
