Louise Redknapp returned to the stage at Brixton’s Mighty Hoopla over the weekend and it wasn’t just her vocals that stole the show. Proving age is just a number, the singer looked half her 49-year-old self in jaw-dropping attire which consisted of high-waisted knickers worn with sheer tights, a white shirt, black tie, matching blazer and knee-high boots.
Adding to her glamorous look, the Stretch hitmaker stunned for the occasion wearing carefully placed contoured make-up which included a nude eyeshadow and matching lipgloss and she also opted to wear her blonde tresses down and straight cascaded over her shoulders.
Looking every inch in her happy place, Louise took loyal fans on a journey of her greatest hits and additionally surprised them with an appearance from her Eternal bandmate Kelle Bryan.
Supporting Louise in the wings was her new boyfriend Drew Michael, who she went public with back in November. Taking to her Instagram page after the show, she posed alongside her beau in a thread of pictures documenting her day at the all-inclusive festival, which celebrated its eighth anniversary this year.
Captioning the post, she wrote: “Mighty Hoopla WOW I absolutely love you! I am so honoured to be part of the LGBTQ+ gang, thank you for always being there for me and I will always be there for you! Baby I’m back.”
Elsewhere at the festival, Rita Ora also proved to be a fan of the sheer look as she too put on a leggy display with a yellow leather look consisting of tight shorts and an oversized jacket. After a delayed start to the stage, the 33-year-old sure proved she was worth the wait kicking things off with her 2019 hit Ritual followed by hits such as I Will Never Let You Down and Praising You.
The pair were amongst a star-studded line-up over two days which also consisted of headliners Nelly Furtado and Jessie Ware, as well as surprise guests Katie Price and Alesha Dixon.
