A grandmother of six who has no wrinkles has shared her favourite skincare product that has kept her skin youthful and glowing.
Vivian Boyko is an author but has amazed people online after she revealed her age and shared her “best beauty hack ever” which promoting some users to accuse her of being much younger than her actual age.
After receiving a comment asking her to prove her age, Vivian, said: “Almost 70, no wrinkles! Why would anybody lie about being 70? If you’re gonna lie about your age you pick a different number like 50 or 60.”
In a video on TikTok, Vivian said: “See my neck? I have no wrinkles. I’m going to be 70 this year, Not a one! I’m going to share with you what I’ve been doing for the last 20 years.”
Vivian revealed that her ultimate skincare product was Vicks VapoRub, a cold symptom relief which only costs £5.25 to buy, which Vivian said she puts on her neck to prevent wrinkles.
Vivian said: “Vicks Vapourub. I’ve been slathering this on my chest and around my neck for the last 20 years.”
This product is a “comfort” for Vivian, who described the product as being “like a warm bowl of oatmeal on a cold winter’s night.”
She said: “I think this is a hack I’ve been doing for 20 years, before the word hack was even out there.”
Vivian also explained other benefits she has enjoyed. She said: “It puts me to sleep, it’s got these ingredients that I love. I love the smell of it, yes I smell like Vicks! I identify with Vicks! If people don’t like how I smell they can leave. I’m not giving up my Vicks.”
She added: “When I do have a cold, I put it all over the bottom of my feet and then I wear a pair of socks. Whenever I get a pedicure they go ‘how can you be 70?’ I love it.”
In Vivian’s comment section, people thanked her for the beauty suggestion and many people could not believe her age.
One user said: “You look beautiful so I’m going to try this” while another person wrote: “[I’m] ushing to the shops to buy tubs of Vicks after seeing how good you look.”
Someone else commented: “There is no way you are 70! Wow.”
However, one top comment asked Vivian to prove she was actually almost 70 as they could not believe her age, promoting Vivian to respond in another video.
Vivian said: “I can prove it, I was born in 1953. I was 10 when JFK was assassinated. I could buy a bottle of Coke for 5¢ (3p).
She added: “In 1964 the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan and I watched it on our black and white TV…it was a Sunday night and I can remember it so well. Everybody was so excited, my parents were horrified!”
