Pumpkin spiced latte is upon us and many ladies may be keen to change their hair in accordance with the season.
According to TikTok, one hair colour has become super popular and will likely be the number one autumn hair shade this year.
The experts at Landys Chemist trawled through TikTok to find which hues have gone viral and are set to dominate.
If you’re looking to make a change this season, the social media platform points to bronde.
L’Oréal defined the gorgeous colour: “Traditionally, brown and blonde have existed separately. On the one side, women who favour rich, natural brunette tones in their hair and on the other, blondes who prefer a lighter, brighter colour result. Indeed, both can be beautiful and throughout their lifetime, many women will find themselves switching shades.
“But the Bronde hair colour trend means you are no longer forced to choose between the two. The clue is in the name: Bronde is a colour technique that fuses brown and blonde, to create a flattering, sun-kissed colour result.”
The experts at Landys Chemist said: “Dominating TikTok with over 167 million views, bronde is the season’s biggest trending hair colour.
“Swapping the beachy blondes of summer to cooler muted blondes, Bronde is the low-maintenance hue that achieves the perfect middle point between blonde and brunette.”
So for those who are intrigued about this new colour craze, what exactly is bronde?
L’Oréal explained that the technique depends on the colour of your hair to begin with, but there are typically three steps involved if you want to achieve this autumnal hue.
The hairstylist starts by using a semi-permanent or permanent colour to dye the roots of the hair a deep, luscious brunette.
They then fade out with a lighter colour as they work down the length of your hair, creating a natural graduation of colour rather than harsh lines.
Next, they use bleach to create subtle blonde highlights which run through the hair. This can be either subtle or vibrant, depending on your personal taste.
Finally, a toner is essential to leave hair feeling healthy and conditioned, as well as the desired colour.
