Gigi Hadid has been accused of anti-Semitism by the state of Israel following her pro-Palestine Instagram posts.
Over the weekend, Gigi took to social media to comment on the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict.
The model, who was born to a Palestinian-American father, posted text against a green background which was originally shared by @consent.wizardry.
“There is nothing Jewish about the Israeli government’s treatment of Palestinians,” the post reads.
“Condemning the Israeli government is not antisemitic and supporting Palestinians is not supporting Hamas.”

The Israeli government retaliated with its own version of the green image, condemning the militant group Hamas.
“There is nothing valiant about Hamas’ massacre of Israelis,” it said.
“Condemning Hamas for what it is (ISIS) is not anti-Palestine and supporting Israelis in their fight against barbaric terrorists is the right thing to do.”
The message was shared by the State of Israel’s official Instagram page, who tagged Gigi in their Story and condemned her comments.
“Have you been sleeping this past week?” the post reads. “Or are you just fine turning a blind eye to Jewish babies being butchered in their homes?
“Your silence has been very clear about where you stand. We see you.”
In its next post, Israel posted an image that allegedly features a bloodstained floor alongside children’s toys.
“If you don’t condemn this your words mean NOTHING,” the caption said.
Gigi previously uploaded a lengthy post condemning the murder of civilians while still voicing her support for the ‘Free Palestine’ movement.
She has yet to issue a response to Israel’s post, and Express.co.uk has approached her representatives for comment.
