This year marks the 30th anniversary of Andrea Bocelli’s singing career, and to celebrate, the maestro is releasing a special Duets album.
The impressive collection includes 10 brand new collaborations with the likes of Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton, KAROL G, Gwen Stefani, Lauren Daigle, Pavarotti, Sofia Carson, Marc Anthony, Hans Zimmer and his children Matteo Bocelli and Virginia Bocelli.
To coincide with today’s release, the 66-year-old has launched two new music videos for his duets with Elisa and Lauren Daigle, which you can view above and below.
When asked what it was like to duet with so many fellow stars over the years, Andrea Bocelli replied: “To mix voices, mix the vibrations, is for me a very exciting experience, sensual and spiritual at the same time.
“Something intimate and deep is established between the two voices that sing a duet. We singers are in constant search of colleagues able to give life to this alchemy.”
Alongside the 10 new duets, the double album features some of Bocelli’s most significant collaborations.
These include Time To Say Goodbye with Sarah Brightman, Perfect Symphony with Ed Sheeran, The Prayer with Céline Dion, If Only with Dua Lipa and Notte ‘e Piscatore with the late great Pavarotti.
Duets is out now.
