Cotton Trader fans heaped praises on stretch cord jeans so comfy that many customers returned to buy the same pair in different colours. The £35 straight-leg jeans, available in navy, hyacinth, pine and bark, are one of the firm’s bestsellers online.
With more than 100 online reviews, the soft and tactile stretch cord jeans are made for easy comfort with a perfect fit and customers clearly think they’ve hit the brief, with the style getting an impressive 4.7 out of five stars based on customer ratings.
BBC The One Show presenter Alex Jones was seen donning a pair of navy cord jeans in her latest collaboration with Cotton Traders and fans loved that it comes with different trouser lengths.
One said: “Cotton Traders trousers are my fool proof buy every time for my 33-inch legs. Love the cords, stretch jeans and joggers.”
“These are good hard wearing trousers. I have many pairs in different colours. Good length, good fit and very comfortable,” a second chimed in.
Made with soft cotton-rich cord, the jeans have concealed adjustable band to the waistband, making them extra flexible. They also come with a straight-leg styling with a zip fly, button fastening waist and five-pocket western styling for a classic yet casual look.
With more than 100 pairs sold in the last 24 hours, no wonder this £35 pair has become a bestseller on Cotton Traders website.
Many agreed that the trousers are true to fit, with one saying: “These are an excellent heavy quality cord. There is a beautiful sheen to the colours. The hidden elastic to the side of the waistband provides delightful comfort. I would highly recommend these smart, casual trousers to anyone. Another winner from Cotton Traders.”
But some customers were disppointed to have received faulty items or with wrong label attached, as one wrote: “Lovely colour jeans, shame about the labelling. The tag had a size 14 label but the garment lable was size 16. Didn’t bother trying them on, this is just a lack of quality control. Two journeys to Click and Collect when I should have only one needed.”
High street brand Uniqlo’s cord trousers are another autumn/winter take on the trend, currently coming with an affordable price tag of £34.90. The wide-leg trousers are autumn staples and comes with matching cord blazers.
