Christian Horner and Helmut Marko ditched Red Bull moments before the start of the Hungarian Grand Prix to visit Daniel Ricciardo.
The two Red Bull chiefs walked halfway down the grid to wish Ricciardo luck ahead of his first race for AlphaTauri.
The duo don’t usually go down to AlphaTauri ahead of the race start making their actions highly unusual.
Marko shook Ricciardo’s hand as race engineers strapped him into the car.
Meanwhile, Horner came over and exchanged a few words with the 34-year-old as he put on his race gloves ahead of the start.
